When one-to-one time becomes rare, it becomes precious

We know your days are full. Younger siblings, nap times, mealtimes, work, errands and everything in between.

Mother & Baby classes give you a gentle pause - just you and your little one, sharing connection, movement and smiles together.

There's no pressure to be perfect and no comparison with anyone else. Just a calm, welcoming space where you can be fully present.

Quick answers for new Kinderballet families.

What if my child is shy or doesn’t join in straight away?

That’s completely okay. Some children join in immediately, while others prefer to watch until they feel comfortable. Our teachers gently encourage each child without pressure, allowing them to participate in their own way and at their own pace. Generally, our Mummy & Me classes are for children aged from 2 to 3½ years, although use this as a guideline only. Children from as young as 18 months have managed the classes and sometimes older children need a parent with the to help them get started.

Does it have to be Mum who participates?

No, any responsible adult that your child trusts and will take guidance from is perfect! We encourage Dads to join in (at least some days), Grandparents, Aunties...

What should my child wear?

Your child can wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely, what they are happy in. There is no need to purchase a uniform. We encourage you to get ballet shoes, which we usually give away FREE to new students anyway! Otherwise, bare feet are acceptable - especially when trialling.

What should I child wear?

Something comfortable, that you can move freely in and something you are happy to sit in the floor in. If you wear shoe, please make sure they are soft shoes as we have little toes we don't want trodden-on.

What happens after the free class?

If you would like to continue then you can sign-up for our regular 3-week trial for $50 or enroll for the remaining classes of the term.
